Full job description

Allied Health Practitioners – NSW Subcontracting Opportunities

Based anywhere in NSW | Flexible arrangements | Travel and telehealth

Linked Anchor Allied Health is seeking expressions of interest from practitioners interested in supporting NDIS participants across New South Wales, particularly regional and underserved communities.

We welcome:

  • Occupational therapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Speech pathologists
  • Psychologists
  • Social workers
  • Counsellors
  • Positive behaviour support practitioners

Our focus areas include: Wagga Wagga, Dubbo, Nowra, Orange, Tamworth, Newcastle, Wollongong, Central Coast, Goulburn and Coffs Harbour, plus surrounding communities.

How the model works

You can be based anywhere in NSW, provided you are willing to travel when required and agreed. This may involve a one-off initial visit, followed by ongoing service delivery through telehealth, where clinically appropriate. Further visits may be needed depending on the participant’s needs.

Practitioners conduct assessments, develop individualised plans, deliver therapy and review progress. Where appropriate, local Allied Health Assistants provide ongoing face-to-face supports under the practitioner’s direction and supervision.

Practitioners determine whether telehealth and delegated supports are suitable, within their professional scope.

What we offer

  • Flexible subcontracting arrangements matched to your availability
  • Opportunities for assessments, therapy, reporting and AHA supervision
  • Collaboration with local supports and other practitioners
  • The opportunity to improve access to allied health in regional NSW

What you’ll need

  • Relevant qualifications and professional registration or membership, as applicable
  • An ABN and appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance
  • Relevant screening and checks for your work
  • A commitment to safe, person-centred practice
  • Willingness to undertake agreed travel

Remuneration and travel arrangements are negotiable and will be agreed before engagement. Referrals and hours depend on participant demand and practitioner availability.

To express your interest, please provide your CV, profession, location, areas of experience, availability and willingness to travel.
