Full job description

Sydney Therapy and Co is a paediatrics-based clinic serving Lane Cove and the local

private schools. We are owned by AIHCS, which also serves over 250 NDIS clients across

Western Sydney. We provide services in the clinic, preschools, schools, and in homes. We

are a family-friendly practice, offering services for both children and adults.

We are looking for two motivated and passionate full-time Occupational Therapists (OTs) to

join our team in Lane Cove, NSW.

Work experience criteria:

Minimun 2 years experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess clients; emotional, psychological, developmental, and physical capabilities using

clinical observations and standardized tests.

- Evaluate clients; functional potential in their home, leisure, work, and school environments,

and recommend environmental adaptations to maximize their performance.

- Plan and direct programs utilizing vocational, recreational, remedial, social, and

educational activities on an individual and group basis.

- Provide advice to family members, carers, employers, and teachers regarding adapting

clients; home, leisure, work, and school environments.

- Supply adaptive equipment, such as wheelchairs and splints, to assist clients in

overcoming their functional limitations.

- Collaborate with other health professionals in the overall case management of clients.

- Work with other professionals in providing specialist advice to specific client groups, such

as those requiring driver rehabilitation, third-party compensation, and medico-legal

representation.

- Record clients; progress and maintain professional relationships in accordance with

relevant legislative requirements and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy ( minimum 2 years experience)

- Current registration with AHPRA

Salary: 87K per annum + superannuation

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 38 hours per week shift

Work Location: Suite 5/46 Burns Bay Rd, Lane Cove NSW 2066
