Site Co-Ordinator/Manager is very supportive, and the other workers are easy to get along with.
Financial Counsellor (Current Employee) –  Davoren Park, SA14 February 2015
Providing outreach financial counselling service at a community legal centre as well as working 1 day a week at the main office; generally see 2-3 clients per day with 1 appt available for emergencies.

The other 2 financial counsellors also provide outreach services on a part time basis, and once a week we are all in the office together for meetings, supervision, and appointments.

The hardest part of the job is to remain detached from the client's concerns, but the best part of the job is getting the creditors to agree to hardship payment plans, and helping client's to manage more capably on their income.
Pros
Close to home, part-time, inclusive work culture.
Cons
Not technologically efficient in record and statistical collection
