Key leadership role in the BSA Retail Banking team

As a Local Area Manager you will be responsible for the performance of a number of retail branches and for driving growth and profitability for the area.
You will engage your teams to deliver the right changes so to achieve our strategic aims to deliver for our customers, people and communities.
You will be responsible for translating sales strategy into executable plans, aligning sales activity to these plans and coaching Branch Managers to lead and deliver results in-branch.
Understanding the customer is central to BankSA business and as a Local Area Manager you will have a strong understanding of your customer segments and be able to proactively identify local market opportunities, to drive customer advocacy and deepen customer relationships across our product and services.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven background in sales leadership, business development and delivering superior financial outcomes within financial services or related industry. Equally important is your ability to be able to lead and drive a customer centric and performance culture.
Critical to your success will be your exceptional leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop your team to achieve optimal results. Naturally you will be an excellent communicator who can build rapport at different levels, engage staff and manage stakeholder relationships.
