CareVicinity is a growing care marketplace helping independent support workers connect with clients seeking high-quality in-home care services across Australia. As an independent contractor using our platform to find work, you’ll enjoy the freedom to choose when and where you work, set your own rates, and make a real difference in people’s lives.

What You’ll Do:

As an independent contractor using CareVicinity, you’ll use our marketplace to match with clients in your local area and provide care services that matter, including:

  • Companionship & social support.
  • Daily assistance – meal prep, errands, transport.
  • Personal care – showering, toileting, mobility (requires additional qualifications).
  • Light household duties – cleaning, gardening.
  • Nursing – wound care, medication management (requires additional qualifications).
  • Allied Health – Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics (requires additional qualifications).

You choose what types of care you offer based on your qualifications and preferences.

Who We’re Looking For:

People who are empathetic, responsible and dependable, especially those who:

  • Are experienced in aged care, disability, mental health, or general support work.
  • Are looking to work independently with support from a trusted platform.

What You’ll Need:

  • The right to work in Australia
  • An Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • A valid Police Check (within 3 years)
  • Two references (character or professional)
  • Relevant qualifications if offering personal or nursing care (e.g., Cert III, AHPRA reg)
  • Vehicle and comprehensive insurance if offering transport

Nice to have:

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • CPR
