Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes.

Oversee kitchen operations including quality control and staff training.

Create innovative menus catering to diverse tastes.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Cook/Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to our customers. You will understand flavours and cooking techniques, both authentic and modern. Your role will be to create signature dishes to complement our amazing venue and oversee kitchen operations such as quality control, stock order, and staff training.

These full-time roles are based in CHEF'S SIGNATURE Helensburgh, NSW with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation. The minimum requirement is Certificate IV in a Culinary field, or higher, and industry experience.

The main duties are as follows:

Plan and create innovative and diverse menus that cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary needs.

Daily guidance, coordination, and supervision for the kitchen staff and juniors

Develop recipes and trial various presentation styles whilst maintaining signature flavours, freshness, and nutritive value.

Plan daily menus and specials, and ensure the presentation is of the highest order

Quality control the freshness of food and ingredients

Identify and respond to the industry trends as well as local competition

Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality

Stock orders, stock control, and food circulation to maximize their lifespan

Train and lead subordinates on daily tasks and provide mentorship as required

Ensure compliance with hygiene standards having the ability to explain to others

Successful candidates will be on an annual salary of $75,000 to $85,000 Plus Superannuation.
