Full job description

Account Executive – DIY / Trade

Strikeforce is an award-winning shopper marketing and field sales agency, partnering with some of Australia’s leading brands across the FMCG, DIY, Trade and Consumer Electronics sectors.

Our culture is fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic. We are passionate about our people, our clients and delivering outstanding results – and we love seeing talented people grow their careers with us.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Account Executive to join our Client Services team within our growing DIY division.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Account Director – DIY, this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in client and account management.

Working closely with our Client Managers, field teams and valued Client Partners, you will help coordinate and execute national activations, analyse campaign performance and provide meaningful reporting and insights that demonstrate results and ROI.

This position has been designed as a development pathway toward a National Client Manager roled, giving you exposure to all aspects of client servicing, campaign management, field execution, reporting and commercial account support.

No two days will be quite the same. You'll be working across multiple clients, campaigns and priorities in a role that combines organisation, communication, problem solving and data analysis.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the Client Services team with campaign and activation requirements, ensuring objectives, KPIs and targets are delivered.
  • Prepare clear and engaging project briefs, field communications and newsletters.
  • Analyse activation results and overlay multiple data sources to identify trends, opportunities and outcomes.
  • Prepare client reporting that clearly demonstrates campaign performance, results and ROI.
  • Maintain weekly trackers and reporting across key client priorities.
  • Coordinate ad hoc projects and priority client activities from briefing through to completion.
  • Manage selected client programs and provide ongoing account support.
  • Assist with client onboarding and system setup in partnership with our Administration team.
  • Prepare monthly invoicing information and ensure accurate supporting documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with Client Managers, National Activation Managers and our field leadership teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.

About You

You may already have experience in account coordination, client services, sales support, marketing, retail operations or a similar role and are now looking for an opportunity where you can take the next step.

More importantly, you'll be someone who is curious, organised and genuinely interested in understanding how campaigns perform and what the numbers are telling us.

You'll bring:

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with the confidence to work across and analyse multiple data sets.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • An analytical mindset and ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Confidence building relationships with internal stakeholders and Client Partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, quality work.
  • A proactive, results-focused approach and sound business judgement.
  • A genuine desire to learn, develop and progress your career.

Why Join Strikeforce?

This isn't just an Account Executive role – it's an opportunity to build the foundations for a long-term career in Client and Account Management.

You'll work alongside experienced Client Managers and industry professionals, gaining hands-on exposure to national brands, retail activations, campaign strategy, data analysis and client relationships.

You'll be joining an established, supportive team within a business that continues to grow and evolve – with the opportunity to grow right alongside it.

If you're ready to build your client management career and want a role where you can learn, contribute and make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by telephone.
