Full job description

At Siemens, we create technology that transforms the everyday, for everyone. Australia may contribute around 1% of global emissions, but we know that every action matters. That’s why we empower our customers to do more with less: using less energy, reducing emissions, and building industries that shape a cleaner, smarter, and fairer future.

By combining the real and digital worlds, we help our customers transform their industries and markets and in turn, make a positive impact on the everyday lives of billions of people. Innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity are at the heart of what we do.

We’re looking for a recent graduate in Accounting or Finance to join our team in September 2026. To be eligible, you’ll need to hold Australian or New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship.

This pathway best suits graduates from:

  • Accounting or Finance degrees

About the Program

Build real expertise, not just broad exposure

Instead of short-term rotations, you’ll join a team where you can go deep, building strong relationships, developing technical expertise and seeing the real impact of your work over time. Our 2-year program is designed to build more than just technical skills. You’ll develop confidence, commercial thinking, and the ability to influence all while working on projects that impact local and global communities.

Why You’ll Love Being Part of Our Team

  • Enjoy 36 hours each year for learning and development
  • Join us as a permanent team member from day one, with a comprehensive 2-year development program designed to accelerate your growth.
  • Opportunity to work 2–3 days from home each week with our hybrid work model.
  • Paid volunteering leave to give back to causes that matter to you.
  • Family-first culture including up to 16 weeks paid parental leave.
  • Take part in events, celebrations, and team-building activities to make connections and build your network.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Shape Project Success: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis to drive impactful outcomes
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with diverse teams to identify opportunities and co-create innovative solutions
  • Champion Clear Communication: Connect authentically with stakeholders, sharing insights and resolving challenges with confidence
  • Drive Excellence: Maintain precision in SAP records, contracts, and procurement while ensuring compliance and quality
  • Grow Your Impact: Develop your expertise across finance, commercial management, and cross-functional leadership in a supportive, inclusive environment

About You

You don't need to know everything yet, that's what our program is for. We’re seeking grads who are curious, innovative and have a growth mindset. You’re comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy solving problems, and are passionate about making a difference.

To be eligible for our program, you'll need to:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have Australian permanent residency at the time of application
  • Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the past 3 years (i.e., 2024, 2025, or 2026)
  • Be able to commence full-time employment in September 2026

Building a Workplace for Everyone

We are committed to ensuring our workplace reflects the communities in which we operate, that everyone has access to the same opportunities and is treated fairly, and that we actively empower the voices of every individual voice.

We strive to provide a safe working environment for each member of our diverse team and commit to continuously develop our ways of working on this journey. From our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan to our diverse cultural celebrations, LGBTQIA+ education and support to our gender equity initiatives, we strive to make our workplace an inclusive environment where every individual feels empowered and heard.
