About the Role
The role is responsible for ensuring the venue is maintained to the highest standards, operational requirements are met, and events are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all relevant regulations.
About the NSW Electoral Commission
The New South Wales Electoral Commission delivers trusted and independent systems, processes, oversight and engagement that support democracy in New South Wales. Our vision is to maintain confidence in the integrity of the democratic process and make it easy for people to understand and participate.
Our work includes:

Running and regulating elections
-
Communicating and engaging with current and future voters, key NSW community stakeholders and NSW election participants; and
-
Investigating possible offences and enforcing electoral and lobbying laws such as the Electoral Act 2017 and the Electoral Funding Act 2018.

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience.

Proven track record of managing sites and/or operations in complex environments.

Understanding of WHS legislation, site safety best practices, and emergency response procedures.

Excellent influencing, negotiation and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability in managing priorities within tight deadlines and budget constraints.

Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.

Other Information
A talent pool may be created from this recruitment action for ongoing and temporary roles of the same work classification that may become available for filling over the next 18 months.
This role is based mainly in our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office and our dedicated count centre in western Sydney. Flexible arrangements may also be agreed with the Count Centre Site Director or the Assistant Commissioner Election Operations Group.
