We are looking for a highly organised and friendly Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our tutoring center. You will be the first point of contact for clients and students, assisting with administrative tasks, managing schedules, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries. Managing and scheduling tutoring appointments for students and tutors.
- Handling general administrative tasks (filing, data entry, record keeping).
- Assisting with the onboarding of new students, including collecting and processing relevant information.
- Maintaining and updating student records and progress reports.
- Assisting with billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
- Ensuring the tutoring centre is organised and welcoming.
- Assisting tutors with preparation materials and resources as needed.
- Managing social media platforms and assisting with marketing efforts.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace and basic office software.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in education or tutoring settings is an advantage, but not required.
