The Challenge: Empowering Growth Through Operational Excellence
Imagine being the person who ensures the engine of a growing consultancy runs smoothly, freeing the Principal Engineer to focus on driving innovation and client relationships. Thanks to your exceptional skills, invoicing happens on time, workflows are streamlined, and client communication is handled with care—allowing the business to thrive without bottlenecks.
Does this sound like the kind of impact you want to make?
If you’re feeling restricted in your current role—limited decision-making power, sidelined insights, or a lack of connection to the broader vision—this could be your opportunity to take ownership and make a meaningful difference. At Noise Vibration Consulting (NVC), we are looking for an experienced Office Manager / Executive Assistant who thrives on autonomy, problem-solving, and creating order from complexity.
Your Mission
Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
- Streamline the Principal’s workload: Manage inboxes, calendars, and communications with precision to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Solve operational challenges: Address ad-hoc issues independently, proposing and implementing actionable solutions that align with company goals.
- Provide solutions for our clients: Independently handle time-sensitive client requests and administrative challenges with professionalism and efficiency.
- Optimise workflows: Design and implement systems that improve efficiency, and document clear SOPs to ensure scalability.
- Support financial health: Handle invoicing, aged debtor tracking, and financial reporting to help maintain operational stability.
- Maintain an efficient office: Oversee facilities, technology, and resources, ensuring the workspace is organised and productive.
Who You Are
You’re the kind of person who thrives on autonomy, loves to take initiative, and delivers exceptional results with minimal oversight. Here’s what describes you:
- You are experienced: With 5-10 years in office management, executive assistance, or business administration, you’ve honed your skills and are ready to make an impact.
- You are proactive: You don’t wait for instructions—you anticipate needs, solve problems before they arise, and always stay two steps ahead.
- You are a communicator: Whether it’s a concise email, a detailed proposal, or a client conversation, your words are clear, professional, and persuasive.
- You are detail-oriented: Nothing slips past you. You’re committed to accuracy, quality, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- You are tech-savvy: Your high level of computer literacy means you’re comfortable with any software and eager to learn new systems.
- You are adaptable: In a fast-paced environment, you’re flexible and ready to handle shifting priorities with ease.
- You love simplifying complexity: Turning chaos into order is your superpower, and you find satisfaction in streamlining processes.
- You are driven to excel and grow: You bring strong skills in problem-solving, organisation, and communication, and you’re committed to continuous learning to further enhance your expertise.

What’s In It for You?
- Make a Real Impact: In this role, your work won’t go unnoticed. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the day-to-day operations of a growing business, with the autonomy to make decisions and see your ideas come to life.
- Grow Your Career: Whether you’re looking to refine your expertise or take on greater challenges, this role offers opportunities for personal and professional development. For an exceptional candidate, there is scope to step into a senior operational leadership role as the business expands.
- Work with Freedom and Flexibility: You’ll enjoy the autonomy to manage your own workload and solve problems independently, in an environment where trust and initiative are rewarded.
- Be Recognised and Valued: Your contributions will be acknowledged and appreciated. This is a role where your skills and insights matter, and your efforts will directly contribute to the team’s success.
- Collaborate Without Overload: Enjoy the balance of working in a supportive, collaborative team environment without unnecessary micromanagement or bureaucracy.
- Competitive Pay and Stability: Earn competitive remuneration that reflects your expertise, with the reassurance of joining a stable, growing consultancy.
