The Role:

Join QGAir's dynamic rotary wing team in Cairns and make a real difference to the lives of those in need. We are seeking experienced helicopter pilots to fly single pilot, instrument flight rules (IFR) in multi-engine AW139 helicopters. You'll be part of a highly coordinated, multi-crew environment conducting emergency medical, search and rescue and counter-disaster operations. Your role will involve supporting aeromedical and various police and government related missions ensuring each operation is conducted safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

Mandatory requirements:

Hold a current Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL - Helicopter)
Completion of Air Transport Pilots Licence Subjects (Helicopter)
Low Level Rating
Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating - 3 Renewals
Minimum 2500 hours total time
Minimum 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) Helicopter
Minimum 200 hours Night PIC Helicopter
Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC Helicopter
Minimum 1200 hours Turbine Helicopter
Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Current Class 1 Aviation Medical

Highly desirable:

Hold a current Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) Rating
Minimum 100 hours NVIS Operations
AW139 Type Rating
Hold a current Australian Passport
