Berala Medical Clinic is seeking a motivated, compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our medical practice, an area experiencing a high demand for primary healthcare services. NSW Health approved the need of a general practitioner for after hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to build a rewarding career while providing essential medical care to the local community. We will welcome applications from suitable qualified international medical graduates who meet the relevant registration and eligibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary healthcare to patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct health assessments, preventative health checks and chronic disease management.
• Provide appropriate referrals, follow-up care and coordination with allied health professionals and specialists.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with practice staff to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality patient care.

Key Qualifications and Requirements

· Medical Degree & Experience: Hold a recognized primary medical qualification and at least 3 years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience in general practice, assessed by the RACGP, ACRRM, or the Medical Board.

· Assessments & Placement: Complete a Pre-Examination Clinical Competence Assessment (PESCI) if required, ensure the position is officially declared an Area of Need and aligns with a DPA, and adhere to mandated supervision and professional development plans.

· Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia, through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or eligibility to obtain the required registration.

• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Currently living in Australia. Prestige Medical Group Private Limited does not employ doctors who live in overseas.
• Appropriate qualifications, experience and competence to practise safely and independently within the scope of registration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and clinical skills.
• A commitment to professional development, patient safety and quality healthcare.

International Medical Graduates (IMGs) are encouraged to apply, provided they meet the applicable registration, supervision, visa and practice-location requirements.
