General information
Description & Requirements
From the warehouse floor to the open road, our seasonal team keep everything moving. Join us during our busiest time of the year and be part of a supportive team delivering for every Australian. It’s hands-on, meaningful work and a great foot in the door with an iconic business; a place where you can belong, learn and grow your career.
Seasonal team members generally commence between September and October. Depending on parcel volume, assisting us to deliver into the new year.
You’ll be
- Safely loading/unloading your truck
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
- Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers,
- Completing both deliveries and pick-ups
- Returning to our operational centres to unload your truck
- Working on a rotating roster, mixture of day, afternoon and nightshifts.
You’ll be paid
- Base payrate is $38.58 (inclusive of casual allowance of 22.5%) - There is additional loadings on top of these rates (15% & 30%). You will get the base rate during the induction period only. Other loadings such as penalty rates on the weekends, tonnange/meal allowance are also applicable.
- Some roles may also attract penalty rates for overtime, evening, and weekend work

- You have effective communication skills
- You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights frequently in and out of a truck up to 16kg. Our Drivers are on the go and require a high level of energy to support your busy day.
- You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
