Full job description

Tutor From Home. Choose Your Hours. Make a Real Difference.

Our online tutoring team at Cloud Tuition is growing and we're looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable tutors to join us in delivering personalised one-on-one lessons to students from Year 2 through to Year 12.

We specialise in Maths, English and Science, and we're hiring across all three. Whether you're a university student, a recent graduate or an experienced educator, if you've got the subject knowledge and a genuine passion for helping young people learn, we want to hear from you.

Subjects We're Hiring For

  • Year 2-12 Maths: Year 2–6, Year 7–9 and Year 10-12 (including QCE Essential Mathematics, General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics)
  • Year 2-12 English: Year 2–6, Year 7–9 and Year 10-12 QCE English
  • Year 10-12 Science: Year 10-12 QCE Biology, QCE Chemistry & QCE Physics

You're welcome to tutor across one or multiple subjects depending on your strengths and experience. However, we're looking for tutors who are comfortable teaching at least two primary or secondary subject areas alongside any senior subjects.

Why Tutors Love Working With Cloud Tuition

  • We handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on tutoring. From onboarding to finding you students, marketing, admin, scheduling and the majority of parent communication, we take care of it. You just show up and tutor.
  • We find students for you at no cost. Whenever a new student matches your expertise and availability, we'll send you a Lesson Allocation that you can accept or decline. No pressure, no lock-ins. You're always in control.
  • Competitive pay + super. We offer a competitive rate per hour session completed with superannuation paid on top. You're paid weekly, directly into your nominated bank account.
  • Genuinely flexible hours. Students typically book recurring weekly sessions, but you choose which allocations to accept and set your own availability. Fit tutoring around your uni schedule, your day job and commitments and update us whenever your schedule changes.
  • Learning resources provided. For select subjects, we provide complete curriculum-aligned units so you don't have to create your own materials. We also provide you with access to your own support page with personalised recommendations on how to use our growing Resource Library that you can pull from during sessions.
  • Our online tutoring platform is yours to use for free. Lessons are conducted on our interactive online tutoring platform with face-to-face video, audio and collaborative whiteboard with our built-in resource library. No Zoom subscription, no downloads, no fuss. Simply connect to your lessons through your online tutor account with your computer to start tutoring.
  • Gain real work experience that counts. Build your resume by developing strong and professional teaching, communication and interpersonal skills that will help you in your career.

"The resources provided are extremely helpful and the team's flexibility and willingness to respond to my questions is greatly appreciated. I am loving the opportunity to work with Cloud Tuition and I'm gaining valuable experience!" — Conor, Secondary Maths Tutor
