Job Summary

Seeking an apprentice/quailed technician to join our well established and reputable Mornington Peninsula based heating and cooling company.

Looking for a change of scenery and have experience in any of the below?

· Heating and Cooling

· Electrical

· Refrigeration mechanic

· Mechanical Plumber

· Gas Trade

Bayside Comfort Solutions are the leading heating and cooling company based on the Mornington Peninsula and are seeking apprentice HVAC technicians to join our installation team.

If you are the person we are looking for, you’ll ideally be just out of your apprenticeship and have a well-rounded skill set in the heating and cooling industry. You might be frustrated by the extended travelling you’re required to do, or perhaps not getting the training and development that you’re looking for. Whether you come from a commercial or domestic background it doesn’t matter, we’re keen to hear from you regardless and will provide you with all the training you need to hit the ground running.

Your role will include:

As an HVAC Installer, you will be an integral part of our installation team. Whilst working in a team environment, your tasks will include:

· Installing split systems, ducted air conditioners, bulkhead systems, gas ducted heaters and cassette units, including:

o Reading drawings and planning out installations

o Drilling holes and installing brackets

o Installing and preparing HVAC components

o Installing copper piping for gas and fluids

o Testing and adjusting equipment and systems

o Diagnosing and repairing system faults

· Being part of and working in a team environment

· Assist leading hand with managing tools

· Running ductwork

About You:

· Be comfortable working at heights

· Honest and reliable

· Have high standards and take pride in the quality of your work

· Consider yourself fit and enjoy working hard

· Have an interest in plumbing but looking to find a career you can pursue

· Have a Construction Induction Card (White Card)

· The following are not necessary, but would be advantageous to your application:

o HVAC Trade Qualification with ARC license

o REC License

o WWC Check (Working with Children)

o VBA License

· Should have a relevant certificate III or higher, or at least three years of relevant experience
