About the Role
Are you passionate about research and looking to grow your skills in a supportive and innovative environment? Join the Allied Health Workforce, Innovation, Strategy, Education and Research (WISER) Unit and contribute to research that helps shape the future of allied health at Monash Health.
Working alongside the Allied Health Research Advisor, you'll support the planning, delivery and dissemination of research projects while building your own research capability. Collaborating with clinicians and researchers across Monash Health, you'll play a key role in translating research into meaningful improvements in patient care.
This position is based at Kingston and may involve working across Monash Health sites as required.
About Us
The Allied Health WISER Unit at Monash Health drives an effective and sustainable allied health workforce through innovation, strategy, education and research. We listen, collaborate and advocate so the current and future allied health workforce are valued and empowered.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will bring the following:
An allied health qualification with current AHPRA registration (where applicable) and/or eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association
A higher degree in research, or be working towards one (desirable)
Experience supporting health or allied health research projects
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including data collection and analysis
Experience searching, appraising and synthesising research evidence
Experience preparing ethics and governance applications (desirable)
Strong project coordination, organisation and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
Experience using research software such as SPSS, NVivo or EndNote (desirable)
