About the Role

You will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience for residents, families & visitors; managing communications, supporting administration systems, and contributing to a warm and well-run residence.

Our Receptionists are highly valued and are an integral part of the operational team, bringing warmth and professionalism to every interaction.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Welcoming residents, visitors and families creating a positive and inviting atmosphere
  • Managing incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals and handling general inquiries and messages efficiently
  • Scheduling appointments for residents to see medical professionals, therapists or other service providers as needed
  • Registering and monitoring visitors, ensuring security and safety protocols are followed
  • Providing information and assistance to residents and their families, addressing their queries and concerns and connecting them with the appropriate staff members when necessary
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as rostering, filing, data entry, maintaining records, mail and deliveries

Skills & Experience

  • Sound administrative skills with the ability to support rostering and team member allocations
  • Experience using employee scheduling software such as Humanforce or Time Target (desirable)
  • Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn
  • Collaborative approach
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities
