About Us

Lollipops Playland & Cafe Croydon is a family-friendly indoor play centre providing a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for children and families.

We are currently looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic casual Customer Service Team Members to join our team.

This role is ideal for current high school students who are looking for casual work after school, on weekends and during school holidays.

About the Role

This is a customer service-focused role in a busy indoor play centre. You will help provide a positive experience for children and families from the moment they arrive.

The role includes customer service, reception support, café assistance, children’s party support, cleaning and general venue presentation.

Full training will be provided, so previous experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include:

• Greeting customers and assisting families at reception
• Helping with customer check-in and general enquiries
• Providing friendly and helpful customer service
• Taking food and drink orders
• Preparing simple café items and beverages
• Clearing tables and keeping the café area tidy
• Assisting with children’s birthday party setup and clean-up
• Supporting party hosts and helping during party sessions
• Keeping the play centre clean, tidy and presentable
• Monitoring play areas and reporting any safety concerns to senior staff
• Supporting other team members during busy periods
• Following workplace safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures

About You

• Positive, helpful and hardworking
• Available for after-school, weekend and school holiday shifts

Previous experience in customer service, café work, cleaning, babysitting, volunteering or party support is helpful, but not essential.

Availability

We are looking for applicants who can work a combination of:

• Monday to Friday after school, from around 3:00 pm onwards
• Saturday and/or Sunday shifts
• School holiday shifts

Please include your weekly availability clearly in your application, including the earliest time you can start and the latest time you can finish each day.

For example:

Monday: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Wednesday: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Requirements

• Current high school students are encouraged to apply
• No previous experience required
• Training will be provided
• Applicants must be legally able to work in Australia
• Parent or guardian support is recommended for school-aged applicants
