Domestic Pet Travel Sales Consultant - Customer Contact Centre

With offices throughout Australia, New Zealand and abroad – it is a dynamic, profitable and fast-growing business. Dogtainers specialise in the Domestic (Australia and New Zealand) and International transportation (including Exports & Imports) of family pets, rare & specialty animals and genetic material.

The engine room of our business, our domestic, corporate, import and export operations teams keeps us moving and delivering our services to our domestic and global customers. We empower and support our teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day. This role is specifically working with our domestic market contact centre team.

  • Provide ongoing phone, email and social media support to our loyal customers

  • Be meticulously organised with your communication and follow-up of prospective new clients

As a member of our growing sales team, you'll be an absolute gun at:

  • Quoting on inbound leads, upselling our additional services and converting quotes to reservations (i.e. bookings) for new customers
  • Problem-solving under pressure
  • Multitasking and nailing attention to detail
  • Establishing a positive "can-do attitude" and an eagerness to learn new processes

We’re offering a very healthy hourly rate for this position, with attractive uncapped commissions.

At Dogtainers, we’re committed to your growth; we’ll make sure you receive all the necessary training required so that you can develop within our dynamic organisation. If you hate cold calling don’t worry – we don’t typically do any on the retail side of our business as we’ve got a good flow of juicy inbound leads for you!

While transport, logistics or a related industry experience would be beneficial we are happy to upskill and provide ongoing industry support to our new team members. If you are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, have a proactive can-do attitude and are willing to work collaboratively with an eye for detail, this rare vacancy may be the perfect role for you.

This exciting opportunity is initially a casual full-time position, starting immediately (and if you do great work and fit in with our DNA, this could result in a permanent full-time position)
