You will manage compliance activities and facilitate process improvements to drive continuous operational excellence while promoting a safety culture.

Reporting to the Support Services Manager, in this role you will partner closely with your counterpart in the Newcastle-Hunter-Central Coast Region, enabling consistency across regions. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team and make a significant impact within our operations.

  • This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week, working from various Ausgrid office locations (Banksmeadow, Haymarket, Artarmon and Dee Why) across Greater Sydney, with pool vehicles available.

What you bring to the role
To be successful, you will have the following skills & experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in related field or equivalent experience leading teams in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex change initiatives, drive continuous process improvement, and establish clear, well-documented procedures that support operational excellence.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills; supervisory, negotiation, and written communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organisation and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and developing people with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office and systems.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, coordinate and deliver a wide range of varied activities.
  • Recognised excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong track record of initiating, driving and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Experience in managing an administrative support function in an industrial environment.
