Chapter Too Café | Heathmont

Are you a passionate chef who loves creating delicious food and being part of a friendly café team?

Chapter Too Café is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Café Chef to join our growing kitchen team. We’re all about great food, quality ingredients, and creating a welcoming experience for our local community.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting our breakfast, brunch and lunch menu while working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to deliver great food consistently.

Your Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes
  • Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
  • Working efficiently during busy service periods
  • Assisting with menu preparation and daily specials
  • Managing food preparation and kitchen organisation
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
  • Monitoring stock and minimising food wastage
  • Working collaboratively with the kitchen and café team

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has previous café or commercial kitchen experience
  • Is passionate about good food and presentation
  • Can work confidently in a fast-paced environment
  • Has excellent food preparation and time-management skills
  • Is reliable, organised and a positive team player
  • Understands food safety and hygiene requirements
  • Can work weekends and flexible hours when required
