Full job description

From the team at Snug in Coorparoo / Camp Hill, Bar Cooper’s is a soon-to-open, small neighbourhood restaurant focussing on simple food with great execution.

We are seeking a full-time Senior Chef de Parties to join our opening team.

Working alongside our senior team, we look to develop a small, hard working kitchen crew work who thrive on bringing the best experience to our guests.

We will operate Wednesday - Sunday with a variety of shifts available.

Working around a woodfired oven and charcoal grill, Bar Cooper’s will operate a little differently, with no devide between front of house and back of house. Our team works together towards a common goal of offering a unique experience and a high quality product. We are creative and don't allow our limitations to impact the ambitions we have to deliver a consice and ever-changing menu.

Our open kitchen and bar area with counter seating means that you should feel comfortable interacting and serving our customers directly, have great product knowledge, fantastic personal hygiene and general cleanliness.

You're main responsibility will be to prepare, cook and present meals but you will also be trained to greet and engage with guests, operate the till, have basic knowledge of our drinks offering, run food & drinks and clear tables.

This position will suit a chef who is looking to be more well-rounded in the industry, without compromising the quality of their work.

On top of your hourly rate/salary and superannuation, you will be offered staff meal and drinks with each shift and the opportunity to grow and develop yourself alongside us and our business.

If this position sounds of interest to you, please apply.

We look forward to hearing from you.
