Our venue combines contemporary hospitality with old-world character, offering guests an unforgettable regional experience. We’re seeking an experienced and professional Waiter to join our team and provide exceptional food and beverage service to our valued guests.

2. TITLE OR DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Waiter Description: Serves food and beverages in a hotel, restaurant, club or dining establishment.

3. ENGLISH LANGUAGE

This position requires a high level of proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with staff, suppliers, and customers.

4. FULL-TIME POSITION ONLY

This is a full-time, ongoing position based in Jugiong, NSW.

5. OCCUPATION TASKS

Main Tasks Include:

· Sets up tables and arranges seating for customers

· Takes orders from customers for food and beverages

· Provides recommendations and suggestions to customers regarding menu items

· Clears tables and ensures the dining area is clean and presentable

· Handles customer enquiries and resolves issues or complaints

· Takes payment from customers

· Stocks and replenishes supplies and inventory as needed

· Follows health and safety regulations and maintains a clean and hygienic work environment

· Serves food and beverages in a hotel, restaurant, club or dining establishment.

6. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Waiter or Food and Beverage Attendant in a dining or similar environment.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

· Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.

· Professional presentation and attention to detail.

· Ability to handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively.

· Understanding of hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.

7. QUALIFICATIONS

  • AQF Certificate II or III in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Service; OR • At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications. • Additional on-the-job training or relevant certifications (such as RSA) may be required.

Pay: $77,000.00 – $87,000.00 per year
