We are seeking a creative and hands-on In-Store Visual Artist to join our Creative Services Studio team. This role blends artistic design with practical execution to deliver engaging, brand-aligned retail environments across national and international stores.

Working primarily in the studio, you will collaborate with the Windows Concept Manager (WCM) and Visual Merchandising teams to develop and produce creative concepts, including mock "top of wardrobe" (TOW) displays that are photographed and translated into implementation guides for store teams. You will also create and source artwork and decorative elements, manage TOW inventory, interpret floorplans, and support the preparation, dispatch, and installation of visual merchandising elements.

THE ROLE:

• Create, produce, and source artwork and decorative elements for retail environments
• Develop mock TOW displays based on creative briefs and prepare the for photography and rollout
• Interpret retail floorplans and ensure accuracy in visual execution details
• Source vintage, antique, used, and wholesale props for display use
• Manage TOW inventory and coordinate reordering of permanent display elements
• Collaborate with WCM and Studio Manager to plan workflow and meet deadlines
• Coordinate dispatch and logistics of VM elements, including international shipping requirements
• Assist with studio prop preparation, packing, and general production tasks
• Support store openings, installations, and in-store visual set-ups as required
• Maintain brand standards, studio organisation, and safe working practices

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Strong creative eye with an understanding of retail aesthetics and visual storytelling
• Experience or interest in visual merchandising, set design, prop styling, or installation art
• Confident working with physical materials and hands-on creative construction
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into practical outputs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven studio environment
• Resourceful and proactive in sourcing materials and solving creative challenges
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional creative and retail teams
• Physically capable of lifting, ladder use, and installation-based work
• Committed to maintaining brand consistency and high-quality execution
