About the position

The main responsibilities will include:

• Lead engaging guided walking tours through Frankston City Centre, showcasing the city's renowned street art collection and sharing stories about the artworks, artists and public art program;
• Deliver memorable visitor experiences for residents, tourists, school groups and private tour participants, adapting presentation styles to suit a variety of audiences; and
• Provide excellent customer service while managing tour groups in public spaces, delivering safety briefings and ensuring a safe, inclusive and enjoyable experience for all participants.

This is a casual position with shifts scheduled based on tour bookings and operational requirements.

About you

As the successful candidate you will have:

• Experience in tour guiding, education, events, performing arts, hospitality, customer service or other public facing roles, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences;
• A confident and engaging communicator with a passion for storytelling, strong presentation skills and the ability to create memorable experiences for visitors; and
• An interest in arts, culture, tourism or community engagement, with enthusiasm for promoting Frankston's street art and creative identity.

This position is a Band 4A currently remunerated at $47.15 hour plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
