About Us

UMI Izakaya Eastwood is a modern Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Eastwood. We pride ourselves on delivering authentic Japanese cuisine and excellent customer service in a welcoming atmosphere.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Floor Staff to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality customer service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Taking orders accurately and serving food and beverages
  • Explaining menu items and making recommendations when needed
  • Ensuring tables are clean and well-presented at all times
  • Handling customer inquiries and providing excellent service
  • Supporting team members to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Following hygiene and safety standards at all times

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred, but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends (flexible roster)
  • Valid working rights in Australia
