Full job description
This is a combined role, approximately 70% Quality Assurance and 30% Executive Assistant and business administration support. The QA work focuses on manual, user-level testing of custom software systems we build for our clients — working through real user flows, validating against business requirements, finding edge cases, and documenting issues clearly for our development team. The EA work supports our CEO and the day-to-day running of the business, including calendar, inbox, and client correspondence.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Test client software projects manually against documented business requirements
- Identify functional, UX, and regression issues across web-based applications
- Write clear, reproducible bug reports and GitHub issue cards
- Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements and verify fixes
- Contribute to test plans for new features and releases
- Manage the CEO's calendar, inbox, and meeting coordination
- Draft and handle client-facing administrative correspondence on behalf of the CEO
- Support internal business operations, documentation, and scheduling

Minimum Qualifications: 4–5 years experience in manual software quality assurance

Proven ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports

Experience providing executive or administrative support to a senior leader

Excellent written and spoken English

Proficient in Google Workspace and GitHub (or comparable issue-tracking tools)

Reliable home internet and professional remote working setup

Available 9am–6pm Melbourne time (10am start during Australian daylight saving)
