About the organisation
Life Without Barriers is a leading social purpose organisation of 8,000 employees working in more than 500 communities across Australia. Join a community of people dedicated to breaking down barriers.
Empowering people with disability to live life the way they choose is at the heart of how Life Without Barriers has operated for over 25 years. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and continue this mission.
We want to employ people who reflect the diversity of our clients to ensure we can support each client's individual needs and wants. We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with disability to apply.

- Work with stakeholders to understand Service Agreements, client needs and Support Worker availability.
- Monitor and adjust published rosters to respond to service changes and staff availability.
- Build positive relationships and collaborate with stakeholders who support clients to ensure efficient, effective and sustainable rostering solutions.
- Routinely utilise established mechanisms including rostering system/s, technical solutions and documentation systems.
- Respond to ad hoc changes required by clients and workers by adjusting rosters and communicating with stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-stream support activities, which may include assisting with forward planning rostering on a regular or adhoc basis.
- Support roster publication planning and contribute known impacts to the Forward Planning team.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a reactive Roster Officer role.
- Experience rostering for community participation and community access
- Demonstrated experience in working both independently and as part of a team.
