CASUAL POOL: AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIANS
ABOUT THE ROLE:
At Cairns Convention Centre, we don’t just deliver events, we create exceptional experiences.
We are currently expanding our casual AV team and are looking for motivated, passionate technicians who want to be part of a high-performing environment. Whether you’re building your career or bringing existing experience, we provide strong on-the-job training, exposure to world-class events, and the opportunity to grow your technical and production skills.
You’ll work alongside an experienced and supportive team, contributing to events that range from corporate conferences to live entertainment, all within one of Australia’s leading convention venues.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Assisting with the setup and pack-down of event production and technical equipment
- Operating and testing professional audio-visual systems
- Supporting live event delivery alongside experienced AV professionals
- Maintaining equipment to a high standard to ensure reliability and performance
