The essential requirements for this are:
The ability to rapidly learn and apply knowledge and skills in the receipting, labelling, verification, processing and registration of samples.
Work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate professionally across disciplines.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively in a process-driven environment with competing priorities.
You may be required to work outside of standard hours on a rostered basis, to support other staff members within the work area to ensure urgent analyses are performed and maintain expertise to ensure continuity of service.
Knowledge of and or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of laboratory information systems (AUSLAB) relevant to the duties of the position.
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and communication skills to enable effective interaction within a work group and between clients (internal and external).
