Full job description
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as AWS Platform / Cloud Architect
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (VPC, EC2/ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda)
- Experience with IaC, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of NFRs and cloud security patterns
- Financial services or regulated enterprise experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Define AWS platform architectures aligned to CBA cloud and enterprise standards
- Design secure, scalable AWS environments (networking, compute, storage, IAM)
- Establish reference architectures and landing zone patterns
- Ensure compliance with security, identity, risk, and regulatory requirements
- Guide teams on cloud migration, modernisation, and platform onboarding
- Review designs for availability, performance, DR, and cost optimisation
- Support delivery teams through build, test, and production readiness
