This is the perfect role for a highly experienced Technician or Master Technician looking to elevate their career to the next level.

Key attributes you will have:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience as a qualified Technician and/or Master Technician working within a busy dealership workshop
  • Ability to problem-solve with technicians and articulate clear and concise solutions
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must hold an Automotive Mechanical Trade qualification recognised in Australia
  • Must have full work rights in Australia
  • Hold a manual driver’s licence

Reporting to the Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring communication between the service counter and technicians
  • Allocating work to technicians, managing productivity and efficiency within the workshop
  • On-the-job training and mentoring of workshop employees
  • Ensuring that technicians’ work is checked off prior to leaving the workshop
  • Assisting with driveway diagnostics
  • Placing the customer experience at the centre of all activities

To be considered for this position, you will need the following experience and attributes:


  • Excellent customer service skills, including in person, in writing, and over the telephone
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude with the ability to adapt to the ever-changing environment of a busy workshop
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a dealership workshop
