Bakers Delight is seeking an outgoing person to join our team of passionate Bakers. We have a delightful opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic baker who wants to bring delight to all our customers by making quality bread and other delicious products. Key Responsibilities

· Mixing, preparing, and baking bread and pastries

· Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked and pastry goods.

· Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough

· Baking different bread types and pastry fillings.

· Preparing varieties of cakes; topping and creaming buns and pastries, including cake decoration

· Assessing the quality of raw materials before baking to ensure conformance to set standards

· Monitoring oven temperature and product appearance to determine baking times

· Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls

· Following Occupational Health and Safety guidelines for all products and working practices, including adhering to cleaning procedures, maintaining food at the correct temperatures, correct storage of goods, safe operation of equipment, and avoidance of spills, trips, and slips.

· Inspecting facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications & Experience

· A passion for baking.

· Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

· Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

· Willingness to work early mornings and rotational shifts.

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
