Restaurant & Bar Manager (Full Time)

Ivy & Jack is our vibrant, all‑day dining venue serving hotel guests, city locals, and corporate clients using our conference spaces. Open from breakfast through dinner, seven days a week, it’s a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

As part of a globally recognised hotel brand, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the guest experience, building a high-performing team, and establishing Ivy & Jack as one of Perth's most welcoming dining destinations. Offering a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with a strong focus on service and hospitality, this is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional looking to make their mark.

What you will do:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant/bar & room service teams, including preparing and overseeing department rosters.

  • Ensure the Hotel’s key metrics are met and exceeded through engagement initiatives to drive revenue, meet hotels guest love targets, improve efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

  • Training, mentoring and motivating colleagues to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.

  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

  • Supporting your team with recruitment and onboarding.
  • Working closely with the finance team to set, monitor, and realign your departmental budgets, including managing payroll costs.

  • Ensure all hotel safety protocols, responsible service and HACCP requirements are adhered to.

  • Resolving guest complaints in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with established service recovery guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience as a Restaurant & Bar Manager (2+ years)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • The ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities.

  • Be able to analyse data and implement strategies to drive results and improve efficiency.

  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for exceeding guest expectations.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Availability across a 7‑day rotating roster (mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays)
  • Legal right to work in Australia
  • A current Approved Managers Certification
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Food Safety Certificate
  • National police clearance (within 6 months)
