Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for a Part-time Food and Beverage attendant to grow a great team, who will 'll be delivering unforgettable experiences through warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service across our Restaurant, Lume Bar and Conferencing.

A little taste of your day to day

  • Understanding the menu and promotional activities
  • Handling cash and credit transactions
  • Setting up and packing down functions and events
  • Ensuring guest enquiries and restaurant dining reservations are followed through in a professional manner
  • Preparing and serving food & drinks to a high standard as well as highlighting promotions for our guests
  • Responding to colleague / guest requests promptly in order to deliver a seamless service in conjunction with service team
  • Collaborating with our Events team and Kitchen to provide seamless service across out Food & Beverage Offerings
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and other beverages

What We need from you:

  • Proven experience in similar role
  • Attention to detail – creating amazing guest service moments with the team
  • Flexibility - working, weekends and public holidays are all part of the job
  • Ability to work in a team and a fast-paced environment and prioritize workloads, as well as assist in supporting the team with other duties as required
  • Excellent personal grooming and hygiene standards
  • Motivation – your presence will impact your team and our guests; therefore, it will be important to stay motivated and energized
  • Most importantly a passion for food & beverage
  • A current RSA certificate
  • You must have working rights in Australia
