Full job description

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and hardworking team member to join our bar and bottleshop. The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails according to venue recipes
  • Pour and serve beer (tap and packaged) with proper hygiene and pour standards
  • Greet and welcome customers in a professional and approachable manner
  • Operate POS system for sales and transactions
  • Restock shelves, fridges, and bar stations as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar, retail floor, glassware, and work areas
  • Follow RSA guidelines and ensure responsible service at all times
  • Assist with general store duties, including unpacking deliveries and stock rotation
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

  • Previous bar or retail experience preferred (not essential — training provided)
  • Ability to make standard cocktails or willingness to learn
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
  • Must hold a valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
