The Role

As a Bartender at The Budgie, you are the engine room of our service. We are looking for someone who can balance technical precision with genuine personality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drink Excellence: Crafting cocktails, pouring beer, and serving curated wines to high standards.
  • Service & Engagement: Interacting with patrons to create a welcoming, high-energy bar experience.
  • Efficiency: High-level money handling and proficient use of POS systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety & Standards: Demonstrating safe manual handling and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced bar environment (cocktail experience is a major plus).
  • Energy: A proactive, "can-do" attitude and the ability to work autonomously during a rush.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a focus on customer experience.
  • Compliance: A valid Victorian RSA certificate is essential.
