Bartender

As a Bartender, you’ll be the heart of the bar experience—mixing quality drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring every visit feels welcoming, effortless, and enjoyable.

Your Day-to-Day

You’ll help create a vibrant and inviting bar experience by:

  • Welcoming guests with warmth and delivering friendly, attentive service
  • Preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to voco quality standards
  • Following standard recipes to ensure consistency and presentation
  • Ensuring responsible service of alcohol, including checking guest identification
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar at all times
  • Managing cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately in line with procedures
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory control
  • Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolving concerns promptly
  • Working collaboratively with the wider food & beverage team

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous bartending experience highly regarded
  • Sound knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
  • A genuine passion for customer service and hospitality
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • RSA Victoria certification
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently behind the bar
