Discover Be Positive Therapy

At Be Positive Therapy, we do more than provide allied health service; we create a space where clients feel supported and our team feels valued. As a trusted provider across the NDIS and Aged Care sectors, we deliver personalised therapy and assessment services that make a real difference in people’s lives. Our leadership team brings years of experience and a genuine passion for supporting our clinicians to deliver high-quality care.

We currently operate across Victoria, Queensland, and Tasmania, offering diverse and meaningful opportunities for clinicians across specialties including mental health, physical disability, home modifications, assistive technology, paediatrics, and behaviour support.

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner who brings dedication, warmth, and a genuine commitment to supporting clients every step of the way.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage your own caseload while delivering high-quality Positive Behaviour Support that meets BePositive standards, NDIS capability requirements, and all state and territory legislation around restrictive practices.
  • Work directly with clients to set meaningful clinical goals and support them in achieving positive, functional outcomes.
  • Conduct behavioural assessments, including functional behaviour assessments, to understand client needs and guide effective support planning.
  • Develop clear, person-centred behaviour support plans, including plans that may involve restrictive practices where legally appropriate and clinically justified.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and join internal and external multidisciplinary case conferences to ensure well-coordinated, high-quality client care.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, families, support coordinators, and other stakeholders, while enjoying flexible work options and ongoing team support.

You’ll shine, if you:

  • Bring Behaviour Support Practitioner experience (or strong transferable experience) and feel confident applying your skills to support clients in real-world environments.
  • Passionate about creating positive change for clients and love turning goals into real, meaningful outcomes.
  • Thrive in a supportive, communicative team and enjoy working with others just as much as you enjoy working independently.
  • Are organised, adaptable, and self-motivated — whether you’re at home, in the office, or out in the community.
  • Value ongoing learning, respect, and high-quality practice, and you’re excited to continue building your expertise while contributing to a positive team culture.

Experience in NDIS or Aged Care is a bonus, but not essential - we’ll support you every step of the way.

Why You’ll Love Working with Us

  • Flexibility That Fits You: Work from home, from one of our offices, or a mix of both. Enjoy a supportive, close-knit team environment with strong clinical backing, varied caseloads, and room to grow.
  • Make an Impact: Help clients achieve meaningful goals every day.
  • Support from Day One: Structured induction and 1:1 guidance from experienced clinicians.
  • Grow Your Skills: Explore different specialisations and take your professional development to the next level.
  • Work Your Way: Flexible hours, part-time (4 days/week) or full-time (5 days/week), plus travel support.
  • Team Vibes: Join a welcoming, connected team with social events, team perks, and a fun environment.
  • Extra Perks: Bonus programs, refer-a-friend rewards, and all the tech you need to do your best work.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally diverse communities, people with disabilities and the LGBTIQ+ community. Everyone is respected here.
