About Helping Hands Behaviour Support (HHBS)

We are a growing organisation driven by purpose, community, and clinical excellence. As we scale, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Team leader to join our leadership team and support our practitioners in delivering life-changing outcomes.
About the Role
As a Team leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping clinical practices, supporting therapists, and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for our clients. You’ll lead by example, guide behaviour therapists in their casework, and collaborate closely with families and stakeholders to drive meaningful results.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and professional development to a team of behaviour support practitioners.
- Review, approve, and guide behaviour support plans aligned with best practices and NDIS requirements.
- Conduct case reviews and assist with complex client presentations and behaviour interventions.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safeguarding, and NDIS Commission standards.
- Support onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing training of junior and senior clinicians.
- Lead clinical team meetings, workshops, and service improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with families, schools, support coordinators, and allied professionals.
- Assist with audits, incident reporting, and quality assurance of documentation.
- Contribute to program development, resource creation, and service innovation.
What We’re Looking For
- A Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), Provisional Psychologist, or equivalent qualification in Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in behaviour support or disability services.
- Proven experience supervising or mentoring other practitioners.
- Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), NDIS guidelines, and restrictive practices reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and written communication skills.
- Passionate about helping individuals thrive and grow through evidence-based support.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
