role summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Analyst to join our dynamic team at a financial services company that is experiencing significant growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI.
  • Perform data analysis to extract actionable insights that influence, support, and assist in strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Design and implement data models to improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements and optimise reporting solutions.
  • Conduct training and provide support to internal teams on Power BI usage and best practices.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics.
  • Continuously improve existing BI systems by integrating new data sources and implementing the latest BI technologies and strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Power BI Analyst role or similar.
  • Proven expertise in using Power BI tools to create insightful dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, and database design.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of SQL and other data manipulation languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial services or related industry is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with other analytics and data visualisation tools.
