Your opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Billing Analyst to play a critical role in delivering accurate, timely and high‑quality billing across TPG Telecom’s Consumer, Enterprise and Government portfolios. Sitting within Customer Experience Operations, this role owns end‑to‑end billing operations across multiple platforms and well‑known brands including Vodafone, TPG, iiNet, Kogan, Felix and Lebara. You’ll lead day‑to‑day billing cycles, resolve complex billing issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that protect revenue, enhance customer experience, and support business growth. Partnering closely with internal stakeholders and outsourced providers, you’ll bring strong billing expertise, operational leadership and a proactive, improvement‑focused mindset in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end‑to‑end billing operations across all bill cycles and billing platforms, ensuring accurate, timely bill runs and invoice delivery in line with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Lead day‑to‑day billing operations including production monitoring, quality assurance, usage error management, incident response, and participation in an after‑hours on‑call roster
  • Proactively identify, prioritise and resolve complex billing and system issues by collaborating with internal stakeholders and outsourced partners to minimise customer and business impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost‑to‑serve, improve operational efficiency, and support revenue growth, business change and marketing initiatives through billing systems.
  • Ensure billing processes meet audit, regulatory and governance requirements while providing subject matter expertise to support stakeholder engagement, system changes and transformation initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • SQL experience required
  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience with billing systems, processes, and downstream financial reporting.
  • People management including team members as well as outsource partner management and relationship building.
  • Knowledge and leadership of billing system processing and scheduling including rating, invoice, invoice delivery methods and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in customer and system issue resolution.
  • Billing system experience such as Oracle BRM (Infranet) are desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle and its effect on billing and invoice delivery and payments
