A Clinical Platform Engineer is a hybrid technology-and-healthcare role focused on building, maintaining, and improving digital platforms used in hospitals, healthcare systems, research organisations, or health-tech companies.

Typical Job Description

Core Responsibilities

A Clinical Platform Engineer commonly works on:

Designing and supporting healthcare technology platforms

Managing cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines

Supporting clinical systems integration (EMR/EHR systems)

Building secure and compliant infrastructure for patient data

Automating deployments using CI/CD

Monitoring platform reliability and security

Working with clinicians, researchers, and software teams

Supporting Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, and cloud services

Ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and privacy regulations

Pay: $9,100.00 – $12,500.00 per month
