Prince of Wales Hospital is a major teaching hospital and tertiary referral centre, delivering high-quality healthcare to communities in South Eastern Sydney and specialist services across New South Wales.
Each year, the hospital’s Emergency Department treats over 60,000 patients, with approximately 50,000 inpatient admissions. Its outpatient and rural outreach services provide more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care annually.

The role
The Systems Analyst – Biomedical Integration is responsible for day-to-day support, management and configuration of critical integration solutions and applications for SESLHD. The role will also incorporate design, development, and project activities to meet SESLHD and State strategic activities.
The Systems Analyst is a pivotal position and will work closely with relevant stakeholders from clinical, IT, biomedical engineering, vendors, and other departments about their required outcomes and workflows in the implementation, administration, maintenance and support of the integration points and dependencies.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience of supporting clinical applications or Biomedical systems in a complex environment.
- Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated experience with integration protocols and Biomedical solutions and systems.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated skills in managing a number of projects and tasks concurrently, with varying timeframes and workloads, in a high volume work environment.
- Proven ability to innovate and implement continuous improvements.
- Current driver’s licence with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
