Position Classification: Technical Officer Grade 2
Remuneration: $45.81 - $51.82 per hour plus superannuation
Hours Per Week: 32

This is a Temporary Part Time Role until 1 January 2027 with a possible extension.

This position is part of the Clinical Engineering department which provides a high quality biomedical technical support service across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD).
The position focuses on the repair, maintenance, and safety testing of equipment in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and Industry Guidelines to deliver safe, effective and reliable biomedical devices for patient care throughout SESLHD.

Selection Criteria

  • An Advanced Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical fault-finding, equipment repair and resolution of networking issues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT networks and systems and how these apply to medical devices.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with an outstanding commitment to excellent customer service and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian and international standards in the medical equipment area.
  • Current NSW drivers licence and access to motor vehicle with willingness to travel and work from different locations in accordance with the position.
