Gold Coast Private Hospital is part of the Health and Knowledge Precinct and sits right next to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Medical Technician in Australia, the job typically involves maintaining medical equipment or performing laboratory testing, depending on the role.

Medical Laboratory Technician Duties:

Collect and process patient samples (blood, urine, tissue).

Operate laboratory equipment.

Perform diagnostic tests.

Record and verify results.

Maintain quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

For laboratory careers, accreditation through Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists (AIMS) may be required for some roles.

Pay: $6,600.00 – $9,700.00 per month
