Crumble Charms is a growing Australian food manufacturer producing premium gluten-free and plant-based confectionery supplied to health food stores, cafés and retailers across Australia.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking Production Team Members to join our manufacturing team for an immediate start.

About the Role

This is a hands-on food manufacturing role, not a light packing position.

You will work alongside our production team to manufacture, assemble, finish and pack confectionery products while meeting daily production, food safety and quality targets.

The work is fast-paced, physical and repetitive. It requires sustained focus, accuracy and the ability to follow detailed production processes throughout the day.

Your duties will include:

  • Accurately weighing and preparing ingredients
  • Following recipes and production procedures
  • Mixing, depositing and forming products
  • Operating food production machinery and equipment
  • Assembling confectionery products
  • Chocolate enrobing, decorating and finishing
  • Packing retail and wholesale products
  • Completing production and quality records
  • Cleaning machinery, utensils and production areas
  • Following food safety, hygiene and allergen-control procedures
  • General factory and production duties

Training on our products, processes and equipment will be provided.

About You

This role will suit someone who:

  • Must be available Monday-Friday
  • Is extremely reliable and punctual
  • Has a strong work ethic and maintains a steady pace throughout the day
  • Is confident performing practical, hands-on work
  • Can follow detailed instructions and recipes accurately
  • Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Takes cleaning and food hygiene seriously
  • Is comfortable working around machinery
  • Can work independently and contribute to a small team
  • Is physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods
  • Can safely lift ingredients, trays and equipment weighing up to 20 kg
  • Is comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environment
  • Can accept feedback and quickly apply corrections

Previous experience in food production, commercial kitchens, bakeries, manufacturing, warehousing, process work or another fast-paced hands-on environment is highly regarded.

Candidates without direct food manufacturing experience may still be considered where they can demonstrate strong reliability, physical capability and experience working to speed, accuracy or quality targets.

What We Offer

  • Immediate start available
  • Stable weekday hours
  • Full training on our products and equipment
  • A friendly and supportive small team
  • The opportunity to develop production and machinery skills
  • Long-term opportunities as the business grows

Before Applying

Please consider carefully whether you are comfortable with:

  • Standing and moving for most of the working day
  • Physically demanding and repetitive work
  • Working quickly while maintaining accuracy
  • Cleaning machinery and production areas
  • Following strict recipes and food safety procedures
  • Working around commercial food manufacturing equipment

To apply, please submit your resume and include a brief note outlining any experience you have in food production, kitchens, manufacturing, warehousing, packing or other physical hands-on work.

We are interviewing immediately and are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible.

Pay: $30.35 per hour

Application Question(s):

  • Describe any experience you have in production, kitchens, manufacturing, warehousing, packing or physically demanding work:
  • Are you comfortable standing for an entire shift and regularly lifting up to 20 kg?
  • This role involves repetitive work, cleaning and working to daily production targets. Why does this type of work appeal to you?
  • What days and hours are you available?
  • How will you reliably travel to work for each shift?
  • When are you available to start?
