JOB SCOPE

  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of PPL lounge
  • Serving food and beverages to guests
  • Assist guests in a friendly manner
  • Processing the guest accounts using the registration and online device

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Greet the guests and escort them to the designated seating
  • Collect payment from the guests at the reception counter before proceeding to the lounge
  • Ensure check in process runs smoothly – process the guest accounts accurately and efficiently
  • Handle the guest questions and concern in good manner
  • Making sure the reception area is always well prepared, clean and monitored at all times
  • Answer telephone / email enquiries and liaise with airlines
  • Take out boarding announcement
  • Direct guests to the boarding screen and direct them to the departure gates
  • Communicate VIP arrivals to the designated staff
  • Prepare food labels as required by the kitchen
  • Replenish food and beverages in the food counters and refrigerators in a timely and hygienic manner
  • Ensure sufficient stock levels of amenities are available
  • Ensure the services, hygiene, cleanliness, and tidiness of the Lounge achieve total customer satisfaction and meet company standards
  • Ensure timely opening and closing of the buffet, bar area or food retail outlet
  • To be familiar with product and service procedures and carry out them correctly and professionally at all times
  • Ensure all backup operating equipment is cleaned, polished and fully stock at all times of operations
  • Order taking if required of the outlet and delivery of food to the correct table
  • Collect dirty plates, glassware and rubbish from the tables and lounge area
  • Customer engagement, establishing and maintaining good customer relations including anticipation of guest needs
  • To provide courteous and professional service at all times
  • Hardworking, holds accountability, creative and positive attitudes
  • Completely familiar with all instructions contained in employee handbook
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by ensuring properly trained in safe working practices, safety hazard identification and risk management
  • To attend training sessions and meetings if required
  • Report to duty punctually, dressed and groomed to required standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A friendly, customer focused attitude with the strive to provide total customer satisfaction.
  • Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
  • The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends.
  • A high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have RSA Certificate.

Pay: $25.85 per hour
