Full job description

We are currently looking for an administrator/junior bookkeeper to join our team located at our office in Dandenong South.

You will play an essential role in our office and this role will you see working across a diverse range of functions, encompassing administrative and accounts duties.

Your Key Responsibilities would be:

  • Accounts receivable and payable duties
  • Sending weekly invoices and Statement to customers
  • Setting up new customer account in the system and updating customer and supplier information if needed
  • Processing credit claims for customer
  • Processing credit account application
  • Debt collection
  • Processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statement
  • Promptly attending to customer and supplier enquiry
  • Some Bank reconciliations
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Providing ad hoc administrative support to the Manager and other administrative team members
  • Filing all the documents

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • General knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Outlook
  • Passion for ongoing learning
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Dedicated, hard-working and committed
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to problem solve and demonstrate initiative

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar role
  • SAP Business One experience would be ideal
