Botanic House | Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney

Botanic House is a premium dining destination located in the heart of the Royal Botanic Garden, offering a sophisticated dining experience surrounded by one of Sydney's most beautiful settings.

We are looking for an experienced Wait staff to join our Front of House team.

This is an opportunity for a hospitality professional who understands high-end service, enjoys engaging with guests and has the confidence to deliver a polished and memorable dining experience.

About the role

As a Waitress / Waiter, you will be responsible for managing your own section and delivering attentive, knowledgeable and personalised service throughout the guest experience.

You will be expected to confidently discuss the menu, make food and beverage recommendations and demonstrate strong knowledge of wine and cocktails.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage your own section confidently and efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional service from arrival through to departure.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, wine and cocktails.
  • Take ownership of the guest experience and anticipate guest needs.
  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation and attention to detail.
  • Work closely with the wider Front of House and Kitchen teams.
  • Assist colleagues during busy service periods.
  • Maintain a professional and polished presentation at all times.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a One Hat restaurant or a similar level premium dining environment.
  • Proven experience managing a section independently.
  • Strong food, wine and cocktail knowledge.
  • Confidence suggesting food and beverage options to guests.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional, positive and team-focused attitude.
  • Impeccable personal presentation.
  • Excellent reliability and punctuality.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional during busy services.
  • Current NSW RSA.
  • Full Australian working rights.

Availability

This is a hospitality role where flexibility is essential.
